Educational Track: Net Positive Products + Enterprise

Our society is facing new challenges in terms of resource management and people’s health and well-being due to the increase of global population. The Circular Economy framework can be the front-end design and disruptive innovation leverage to bring the change through companies that can make a beneficial contribution to the economy, quality of life and equity. Herman Miller and Tarkett have both improved supply chains and raw materials to create the pieces of a more circular manufacturing economy. The collaboration with key suppliers has created handprinting opportunities, such as using of recycled materials in popular products; renewable energy solutions; and recycling of product scrap to increase material efficiency flows.
