Diane Martel is responsible for driving the company’s sustainable messaging, programs and initiatives, Martel works with all divisions of Tarkett North America to develop and implement an environmental strategy and action plan, ensuring awareness and action across the industry. Most recently, Martel has helped drive initiatives that include the company’s asthma & allergy friendly™ certification, execution of its Environmental Health Statement (EHS) tool (developed with the EPEA) Martel continues to work with Tarkett’s product development team to redesign existing products to reduce emissions and phthalates and introduce new environmentally-friendly products as part of its closed-loop, circular design approach.
